People's actions.

(Based on Live Mocha's lesson, lesson Unit 4, Lesson 4)

This lesson will help improve our grammar, increase our knowledge of nouns and verbs, describe the amount of people, etc! It's quite useful. I've expanded each sentence, otherwise it'd practically be just copy and paste :P.

Dareka ga janpu shiteimasu- Somebody is Jumping.
Dareka- Somebody, janpu- jump, shiteimasu-to do.

Mina ga janpu shiteimasu- Everyone is jumping.
Mina- all, janpu- jump, shiteimasu- to do.

Janpu shiteiru hito wa imasuka?- Is anybody (now) jumping?
Janpu- jump, shiteiru- to do (not at end of sentence), hito- one person (e.g From hitotsu, one),
imasuka- Now (to do).
Hai, akai shatsu wo kita otokono hito desu.- Yes, the man with the red shirt.
Hai- yes, akai-red, shatsu-shirt, wo-belonging to, kita- past tense of kiru (to wear), otokono hito-man.

Daremo janpu shiteimasen.- Nobody is jumping.
Daremo- Nobody, janpu- jump, shiteimasen- not doing.

Baggu no naka ni nanika haitteimasu- Something is in the bag.
Baggu- bag, no- possesive, naka ni- within, nanika- something, haitteimasu- to be inside.

Baggu no naka ni zenbu haitteimasu.- Everything is inside the bag.
Baggu no naka ni- within the bag, zanbu-everything, haitteimasu- is inside.

Baggu no naka ni nanimo haitteimasen.-Nothing is inside the bag.
Baggu no naka ni-within the bag, nanimo- NOTHING, haitteimasen- to not be inside.

Daremo suwatteimasen- Nobody is sitting.
Daremo- nobody, suwatteimasen- to not sit.

Daremo tatteimasen.- Nobody is standing.
Daremo-nobody, tatteimasen- to not stand.

Kiiroi tokoro to aoi tokoro ga arimasu.- Something is yellow and something is blue.
Kiiro-yellow, tokoro- something, to-and,arimasu- to be, aoi-blue.

Zenbu akai desu- Everything is red,
zenbu-everything, akai-red.

Akai mono wa arimasuka? Hai, hako desu.- Is anything red? Yes, the box.
Is anything red? Yes, the box.

Akai- red, mono- anything, arimasuka- to be. Hako- box.

Dareka ga mada oyoideimasen. Somebody is not swimming yet.
Dareka- somebody, mada- yet/may, oyoidemasen- not swimming.

Minna mou oyoideimasu- Everybody is already swimming.
Minna-all, mou-already, oyoideimasu-swimming.

Minna kuruma ni notteimasu. Everybody is in the car.

Dareka ga naiteimasu. Somebody is crying.

Dareka ga naiteite, dareka ga hohoendeimasu. Somebody is crying, somebody is smiling.
